Project Management

Our program management methodologies evolved through the recognition of deficiencies in our industry. Many integration companies lacked proper systems to bring projects from an initial concept through delivery without sacrificing one (or in some cases all three) of the main ROI criterion: schedule, budget, and quality. In addressing this gap in the marketplace, ProMetric developed the ProMetric Project Process (P3). The P3 approach uses a modified waterfall model which incorporates standard ProMetric utilities that eliminate many of the challenges inherent with developing and deploying world-class systems. P3 uses two fundamental ideas as part of the process: The Staged-Approach and Total Quality Management.

Staged Approach

ProMetric uses a staged-approach when developing and deploying all systems. This begins with creating a project plan for each application and flows through various processes such as Requirements Development, Detailed Design & CDR, Implementation, and Final Integration. This proven method results in the successful delivery of a solution every time.

Total Quality Management

Each stage represents a quality baseline point (QBP) in the process where the system is tested and accepted by the customer. Deliverables and milestones are developed and tracked for each QBP and a review meeting may be appropriate depending on the size of the project. This ensures quality, keeps the program on schedule, and ultimately lowers the total cost of your solution.
